Bust

Full bust circumference, taken around the widest part of your chest at breast level.

Wrap the measuring tape snugly around the fullest part of your bust, align it evenly across your back, and keep it horizontal all the way around for an accurate reading.

Under Bust

Around your ribcage directly beneath the bust line.

Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your ribcage just below your bust, ensuring it stays level all the way around your body.

Mid Shoulder to Nipple

From the natural bra strap position at mid-shoulder down to your bust apex. Please take this measurement while wearing the bra you will wear on the big day.

Relax your shoulders and arms, then measure straight down from mid-shoulder to your bust point.

Waist

Natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso.

Locate your natural waist indentation by gently bending sideways, then wrap the tape evenly around it and keep it parallel to the floor.

Hips

The circumference of the fullest hip area.

Wrap the tape around the widest part of your hips, roughly 7 to 9 inches below your natural waist, and keep it level with the floor.

Back Shoulders

From one outer shoulder edge across the central back neck bone to the opposite shoulder edge.

Lay the tape over your shoulders, then measure from the outer edge of one shoulder across the prominent centre neck bone at your back to the outer edge of the other shoulder.

Armhole

Armhole circumference.

Wrap the measuring tape over the shoulder top and fully around beneath the armpit to get this measurement.

Arm Circumference

Around the fullest part of your upper arm.

Measure with your arm muscles relaxed.

Sleeve Length

From shoulder seam to your preferred sleeve end.

Keep your arm relaxed at your side, then measure from the shoulder seam down to your ideal sleeve length.

Hollow to Hem

• Stand straight with bare feet together.
• Measure from the center of your collarbone without wearing shoes.
• For full-length dresses, measure down to the floor.
• For short dresses, measure to your preferred hem length.
